I’m a Philadelphia native, so I know the area well. My husband, Jamie, is an active professional athlete who has played in the NHL as well as other leagues for over 10 years now. I know first-hand how challenging it can be to move to a new city where you may not have friends or family to help you get settled. You’re focused on games, kids, business projects—so it can be tough to find furniture rentals, contractors, car dealers, nightspots, even a place to simply get your nails done. With that in mind, I’ve put together a list of resources to help you start to feel at home.

Philadelphia has been our home base for the last four years, and for the past two hockey seasons, I have stayed at home here with our three children. I know fun things to do with your children, the best spas, golf courses, dining, shopping and nightlife in Philadelphia, the Main Line suburbs and southern New Jersey as well.
